God's words to Jesus at his baptism are also his words to you. Carry them with you each day: "You are my Beloved, in whom I am
delighted." This is the gift that will nourish you. Let the words echo in your soul. It is the truth
that will connect you most surely to God and provide the
touchstone for discernment amid other voices that will accuse and test you from day to day.
